Technical Manager for Video Systems in the MLS

Are you a technical overseer with expertise in managing systems and processes and have a passion for sports? - This could be your chance to get on to the pitch.

Our Video-System include the Video Assisstant Referee (VAR), Medical Sideline Review (MSR) and Semi-Automated Offside Technology (SAOT)

What to expect:

• Management, ensuring functionality, and monitoring of all technical processes from a centralized operations center for the MLS

• Testing and continuous development of cutting-edge video technology
• Taking responsibility for the successful operation of the VAR system at MLS, MLS Leagues Cup & All-Star matches
• Conceiving innovative features to enhance processes and support real-time decision-making
• Planning and organizing technical infrastructure and signal transmission in coordination with Broadcast Providing consultation, conceptualization, and ongoing development of video service projects

This is what you bring to the table:

• Completion of studies in computer science or a related field, or alternatively, 2 years of professional experience in IT administration or technical project management
• Experience in IT projects, live TV broadcasts, or data analysis is advantageous
• General understanding of sports technology and the sports industry
• Deep knowledge in reporting, excellent proficiency in MS Office, and receptive to feedback
• Outstanding written and spoken English skills; knowledge of other foreign languages is advantageous
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends
